
MO-KAN ALL STATE GAMES
The first annual USSSA MO-KAN All State Tournament will be held on July 27 and 28, 2012 (July 29 is reserved as a rainout day). Ages 9 through 14.
There will be multiple ways for players to be nominated for MO-KAN All-State.
• Only players from Missouri and Kansas Teams are eligible for nomination for the All-State Games.
• At designated All-State tournaments throughout the season, All-Tournament teams will be selected by the tournament director. Those players are automatically nominated for the MO-KAN All-State team. CLICK HERE for a list of All-State Games Qualifying Tournaments.
(The tournament director will post the All Tournament Team when posting the scores and order of finish for the tournament at www.usssa.com.)
• At the designated All-State tournaments, coaches will be asked to nominate players based on the team's order of finish.
o The first place team will nominate 5 players.
o The second place team will nominate 4 players.
o The third place team will nominate 3 players.
o The fourth place team will nominate 2 players
o All remaining teams will nominate 1 player.
(These nominations must be submitted to the tournament director immediately following the tournament.)
Players will also receive an automatic nomination by being selected for the All Tournament Team at any Missouri or Kansas State Championship. (The tournament director will post the All Tournament Team when posting the State Championship scores and order of finish for the tournament at www.usssa.com.)
• Each nominated player who is selected and who returns the All-State form with payment will receive a numbered All-State tee shirt for play, an All-State certificate, and will be listed on www.kcsports.org as an All-State player.
• Eligible players will be divided into teams and play in a round robin tournament. Players will be placed on teams on the day of the All-State Tournament. Players whose parent is a coach for the All-State team will be placed on their team. All other players will be divided equally according to positions, classifications, etc.
• There will be 2 separate tournaments; there will be a Major/AAA tournament for selected Major and AAA players and a AA/A tournament for selected AA and A players.
• Each player will pay a $75 fee.
• All classifications can be nominated (Major, AAA, AA, A)
• Selection of players will be done by tournament directors and State Director.
ALL STATE TEAM MANAGERS
• Managers and their assistants whose teams win the State Championship will be the first choice to coach in the All State Games. Runner-Up will be next in line.
